Ancillary task 1: Trailer sound research

br /> This is the trailer for paranormal activity, the sound in this clip is very important as it uses the common horror trailer conventions. These include a deep voice, trying to create a good impression by telling the audience that the film terrified America. The faster tempo of the soundtrack and the scream are all used to create tension and scare the listener. Also telling the listener the film name at the end means that the main thing they are going to remember will be the most important thing, the films information.

this has inspired me to try and make our trailer fairly scary, this will hook the audience in and will give them fairly good insight into what our film will consist of without giving too much of the story away.
